An impeccable handmade Kashan tree of life rug of high quality wool and silk blend. Flourishing in the Safavid era, near Isfahan, weaving workshops flourished and a rich history of tribal carpets have been hand made in the region ever since. Around 60 years old, this wonderful rug is in excellent condition, with its stunning blue ground vivid and clear. A central vase or urn, embellished with foliates and flowers with a border of lozenges containing stylised birds and animals.
