A 19th century quintessential English country house chesterfield sofa. Button back and arms, upholstered in the traditional manner of horsehair then covered in a Sanderson style fabric (previous owner states it is Sanderson, done in the 1980’s). Raised on turned legs on ceramic castors. Frame and springs in good solid order, some wear to the fabric in a couple of places as shown, and one button missing. Perfectly usable or can be re-covered to taste.
