A late 18th Century Welsh oak linen cupboard. Fixed, stepped cornice above a top cupboard enclosed behind two panelled doors. The interior with fitted shelves, the top shelf with curved recess likely to have accommodated the tall traditional Welsh hats. The base with three short drawers above an arrangement of three longer drawers with later bun handles. Raised on tall square legs. Retaining lock and key, which are no longer functional, so an oak twist catch has been added to the door. The other having a large carved and interesting door lock mechanism. Knocks, marks and bumps commensurate with age, but a good solid piece retaining good colour.
