A late 19th century Chinese altar table of elm and cedar. Twin frieze drawers with carved and pierced decoration with brass drop handles. The pattern is mirrored to the the rear of the table, with pierced and carved faux drawers. Traces of what was possibly a crimson lacquer in places, age related wear with old worm in places, treated as a precaution. Sturdy condition, slight separation of top boards.
