A highly decorative pair of half moon painted pine console tables, from Dunkirk Manor. Faux red marble tops on square tapering legs painted in a soft tone, with intricate gilt paint detailing. From the second half of the 20th century. Paint rubbed and chipped in places commensurate with age and use.
Dunkirk Manor is a fine English listed country house in Nailsworth, on the edge of the Cotswolds. Recently it has sold off a collection of art and antiques, of which this striking pair of tables formed part of.
