An oak and walnut provincial French buffet, or housekeepers cupboard dating to around 1840. Painted later in soft yellow with a wonderful cobalt blue painted interior, this great storage item comes in three sections for ease of transport. The moulded cornice sits on top of an upper section, with shelving enclosed behind panelled doors. Below, a two door cupboard with further shelving and a small cutlery drawer. White painted original panelled back. Paint loss in places, wear commensurate with age.
